We began the cruise from Strangford Lough, Northern Ireland and motored down to Milford Haven, South west Wales, where we anchored in Derrick Bay for the afternoon. The weather was glorious and we had a beautiful day.

We spent a couple of days at Dale then went up to Neyland for the day to get some provisions. Neyland is a beautiful marina and town with a couple of good chandlries.

From Neyland we headed south to the north of cornwall and Padstow. We headed in the evening as the sun sank in the west, a wonderful trip.

Rick Stein's fish and chips place is here as well as his bistro, restaurant and deli. The entrance was a bit tricky as we arrived at night to get in with the high tide but with some assistacen from the harbour master we made it - we had never been here before. In the morning Padstow revealed itself as a beautiful quaint village with the harbour as it's centrepiece. Water, power all on tap and a great atmosphere made this place one of the highlights to our holiday.

Here are some of the photos of Padstow during the July heat wave, temperatures maxing out at 36 degrees. Also shows the tidal channel entrance.

From Padstow we cruised over to the Isles of Scilly where we spent our first evening at Hugh's town, St. Marys.

During the day we relaxed and when ashore in the afternoon to view the sites of the local vicinity. Some great gift shops and clothes with great friendly people (apart from the harbour master). The 2nd night we spent on a mooring in Hughs Town harbour which was rather expensive for a swinging mooring with no facilities!
