Hello, Donnie and Jenny here in Jamaica, W.I.
A few weeks ago we said goodbye to our Pacemaker 30 and welcomed a 1986 Princess 35 to our family. She doesn't even have her proper name on her yet - she's still answering to her old name, "Rythms".
Although her interior is pristine, we've been working a bit on getting her on-board electronics moving along and she has some electrolysis issues. We serviced the engines and generators and repaired a faulty fuel tank float guage.
She's running great though, and we're thrilled to have her.
Jenny took some pictures last weekend, which we hope to post soon. |

Congratulation Nautigal, with a superb boat that you sure will enjoy. I got the same make myself, bought 3 years ago in Poole UK. Mine is a 91 model. Major differences between them is a rear exit door to the bathing platform (introduced by Princess in 1990) and TAMD41B Volvos. Otherwise, just minor differences. |

Sounds like you have a great boat there. Health to enjoy and we hope to see the photos soon.
Regarding the electrolysis, are you in a marina. If so check that your mains earth is connected on the boat to the shore. Marinas should have a very low resistance to earth at the shore supply points, usually less than an ohm which means that the water is the higher resistance and your anodes don't fry. There is a special measuring device to measure earth resistance, qualified electricians only! |

Could you send me a close-up picture of your transom door, as I see a potential problem with the hinges on the transom. |
